Zinke Designs

Here’s a new one, go check it out, http://zinkedesign.wordpress.com

Sorry everyone that I’ve been so MIA this week. I actually couldn’t log into the blog for a few days, I was having some issues. Anyway, today I bring you another site dedicated to bringing together wedding blogs, Wedding Blog Awards. I have been following this blog for sometime since it’s a great place to find new reads so I was thrilled today when Abby emailed me to say that The Unbride was selected as “Most Inspirational Blog”. Yay!
We are dedicated to finding and promoting valuable wedding blogs; be they bride blogs, groom blogs, or wedding vendor blogs. We’re not picky.

With new blogs coming online every second, we understand there are too many blogs to pay attention to and some blogs don’t even deserve our attention. So our goal is to make sure the wedding blogs that are worthy of your time will be displayed here at http://www.WeddingBlogAwards.com

There are hundreds of wedding planning sites out there and thousands of individual wedding vendors sites. Some of them focus on great design and easy navigation while others include leading trend ideas. By selectively passing out awards we’re hoping to encourage valuable blogging and avoid all the junk so if you have a recommendation, please email us:

weddingblogawards [at] gmail [dot] com

Browse around, comment with your opinion of the blogs we’ve showcased, and let us know if there is anything else you’d like to see and we’ll do our best to bring out the best in wedding blogging.

Alright ladies, Elizabeth Anne Designs is looking for you…
Calling all brides!
Over the next couple of weeks, we are going to be all about the brides here at EAD. Not only are we going to post the rest of the EAD Services brides’ inspiration boards and ideas (that’s right, all of them!), but we also have some reader emails to catch up on and a lovely real wedding from reader Jessica to show off. Last but not least, our second guest blogger is coming up soon – and you guessed it, she’s a bride-to-be!

Now – you. That’s right – YOU out there. Yep, come closer… closer… ah, OK. There you are. We need you to participate! Please – send us questions, inspiration board requests, pictures from your own wedding, pictures of weddings you’ve photographed, DIY projects you’re struggling with, DIY projects you’ve completed and want to show off :), inspiration boards you’ve created, bridesmaid dress dilemmas, anything and everything! We’ll post back with ideas, suggestions, and inspiration, or we’ll just post your lovely creations and inspirations.

Send things our way to {elizabeth anne designs at gmail dot com}. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!

PS – Green inspiration boards and items are welcome to round out our green week too!

What’s even better than one wedding blogger? How about 5!

Okay, all of you ladies in brideland are in for a real treat today. Fabulous photographer, Kim Calakoutis has put together an online magazine to inspire and educate brides as to the possibilities for their wedding day by putting together galleries of wedding images by category. It’s totally worth it to go browse around for some new ideas.
Kim Calakoutis created this magazine after her own wedding. Kim realized she was in a unique position to really help brides plan their weddings. Being a recent bride herself, she could relate to the challenges brides face. Her goal is to use the photographs she takes to help as a visual aid to hopefully save brides time and find interesting ideas.

Bridal Cheek is a blog for brides who are as quirky as the name implies. Brides who aren’t afraid to stray from tradition, break the rules, view life with a sense of humor, and who can accomplish all of this with a sense of style.
I’m a Seattle girl who fell in love with an Ohio boy. I’m a teacher working toward my graduate degree in history, aspiring fashionista, and historical fiction junkie. My fiancé is a web developer, and not only willingly involved in the planning of the wedding, but very tolerant of my admitted obsession.
